Outpatient Mental Health

Taking care of your mental health should fit into your life, not take it over. Our outpatient services offer flexible therapy, counseling, and support that work around your schedule, helping you build resilience while staying connected to your community.

Outpatient Services offers care to individuals ages 4 and older who need behavioral health care and addiction services.  All services delivered are evidence based and trauma informed.  The following services are offered based on the individual’s needs: 


  • Intake Assessments are provided by a masters level clinicians for diagnostic and treatment planning. 

  • Psychiatric/ Medication evaluations are provided by psychiatrists and nurse practitioners for diagnostic, treatment planning, and psychotropic medication needs. 

  • Individual, family, and group therapy are evidenced based and offered for children and adults.  

  • Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT) is an evidenced intervention for children ages 2 through 7 and their parents to help decrease negative child behavior and improving the parent-child attachment relationship. 

  • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Health Therapy (TFCBP) is an evidenced based intervention for children and adolescents who have experienced a traumatic event. 

  • Family and Peer Support services are offered to our clients by family members and individuals who have lived experience with a behavioral health and/or addiction diagnosis. 

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is an evidenced based intervention offered for adults who have experienced a traumatic event. 

  • Attachment Regulation and Competency (ART) is an evidenced based intervention offered for children and adolescents and their families who have experienced complex trauma. 

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is offered to children, adolescents, and adults to help them change their negative thinking patterns that impacts mood and behavior. 

  • Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications in conjunction with therapy using the “whole patient” approach for recovery from addiction. 

  • Enhanced Outpatient Program (EOP) is a behavioral health program for adults living with co-occurring and/or substance use disorders and includes a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner, therapist, certified peer recovery specialist and case manager.  

  • Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders Toolkit is an effective dual diagnosis program that combines MH and SUD interventions that are tailored for the complex needs of clients with comorbid disorders. 

  • Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) is an evidenced based program for adults 18 and older to help individuals work on their recovery.  

  • Motivational Interviewing is a counseling method that involves enhancing a client’s motivation for change by empowering the patient and listening with empathy.  All staff are trained on this technique to improve outcomes for children, adults, and families seeking help.  

  • Case management services are offered to uninsured adults and uninsured/underinsured children and youth who need additional support in the community and linkage to services. Social Determinants of Health and assistance with daily living skills are provided through this program.  

  • Tennessee Health Link (THL) is a program offered to children and adults with TennCare who meet criteria based on diagnosis and level of care needed to remain stable in the community. The primary objective is to coordinate healthcare services for TennCare members with the highest behavioral health needs.  

  • Turning Point is a peer support center where adults 18 and older can go to work on their recovery and learn new coping skills. 

  • Pharmacy Services: Alliance provides pharmacy services and has 3 convenient locations.  Included in these services are the medications needed for daily dosing for those individuals in the MAT programs.
