Alliance Pharmacy Locations in Memphis
As of June 1, 2026, Alliance pharmacy services operate at three sites across the city. Each site supports the clinic it's housed in and the clients we serve in that part of Memphis.
Our active pharmacy network:
Douglass (2579 Douglass Ave) is our pharmacy hub. It fills prescriptions for the whole Alliance network and handles all controlled substances.
2150 Whitney (2150 Whitney Ave) serves clients in north Memphis with full pharmacy services.
3200 Broad (3200 Broad Ave) is inside the Crisis Wellness Center and supports both outpatient clients and crisis patients on-site.
A note on Peabody and Winchester: Pharmacy services at our Peabody and Winchester clinics are currently paused. You can still get scheduled injections at either site (more on that below).

All three locations follow the same Monday-through-Friday schedule, with extended Wednesday hours and an early close on Fridays. 2150 Whitney opens 30 minutes later each day than the other two sites.

What Makes Alliance Pharmacy Different?
Most pharmacies don't specialize in behavioral health. Alliance does. That makes a real difference when your prescriptions include psychiatric medications, addiction recovery support, or both.
Pharmacists who know your treatment plan. Our pharmacy team works directly with your therapist, prescriber, and case manager. When something changes in your care, the pharmacy knows.
One number, one team, one network. Whether you fill your prescription at Douglass, Whitney, or Broad, your records and your meds move through the same system. You don't have to start over each time.
Insurance handled for you. We accept TennCare, Medicare, BCBS of Tennessee, Cigna, Wellpoint, United Healthcare, and Aetna. Our team works the paperwork so you can focus on your care.
What Our Pharmacy Supports
Our three sites work together to support every part of Alliance care.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use disorders. We stock buprenorphine, Vivitrol (naltrexone), and naloxone, and coordinate with your MAT prescriber at Peabody or another Alliance site.
Psychiatric medication management. Refills, new prescriptions, and dose changes are coordinated with your Alliance psychiatrist or nurse practitioner.
Crisis medication access. The Broad pharmacy supports the Crisis Wellness Center so people in crisis can start or continue their medications without leaving the building.
Discharge medication supplies. When you leave the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), we can send you home with up to a one-month supply to bridge you back to outpatient care.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I pick up my prescription from Alliance Healthcare Services?
Most outpatient prescriptions are filled at the Douglass pharmacy (2579 Douglass Avenue, Memphis, TN 38114), which is the Alliance network hub. If your clinic is 2150 Whitney or 3200 Broad, you can usually pick up at your clinic's on-site pharmacy. Your prescriber will tell you where to go.
Can someone else pick up my prescription for me?
Yes. A family member or someone you trust can pick up most prescriptions on your behalf. They will need to show their photo ID. Controlled substances have additional rules; call the Alliance pharmacy if you have questions.
What if I need a controlled substance like Suboxone or a stimulant?
Controlled substances are dispensed only from the three active Alliance pharmacy sites: Douglass (2579 Douglass Ave), 2150 Whitney, or 3200 Broad. They cannot be picked up at Peabody or Winchester.
I am a Peabody or Winchester client. What about my injection?
Call your clinic at least 14 days before your injection appointment so the medication can be prepared at Douglass and delivered to your site. Last-minute requests should go directly to the Douglass pharmacy team at (901) 369-1410, extension 11111.
What hours is the Alliance pharmacy open?
Douglass and Broad pharmacies are open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The 2150 Whitney pharmacy opens 30 minutes later each day (8:30 a.m. start) with the same close times.
Are Alliance pharmacy services only for Alliance clients?
Yes. Alliance Healthcare Services pharmacies fill prescriptions for clients enrolled in Alliance programs.

Dr. Justin Charles, PharmD, is the Director of Pharmacy at Alliance Healthcare Services. He oversees pharmacy operations across all three Alliance pharmacy sites in Memphis.
