Can my child stay overnight at the Children & Youth Crisis Wellness Center?
Yes. The Children & Youth Crisis Wellness Center has 15 short-term crisis stabilization beds providing 24-hour care for ages 4 to 17. Most stays last a few days while our team works with your family on next steps, including discharge planning, school coordination, and ongoing outpatient care.
Do you involve families in my child's crisis care?
Yes. Family involvement is central. An embedded Family Support Specialist who has navigated their own child's mental health journey works directly with you. Every treatment plan is family-centered, trauma-informed, and built around how trauma affects developing young brains differently than adult brains.
What insurance does the Children & Youth Crisis Wellness Center accept?
At launch, the Children & Youth Crisis Wellness Center accepts BlueCare/TennCare Select, United HealthCare TennCare, and WellPoint TennCare.
