Addiction Recovery
Alliance Healthcare Services offers a comprehensive addiction recovery program designed to support individuals on their path to healing and sobriety. Our approach recognizes that recovery is a deeply personal journey, and we meet each person exactly where they are in that process.

Our Addiction Recovery Program
Enhanced Outpatient Treatment: Our structured outpatient programs provide intensive support while allowing you to maintain your daily responsibilities. These programs include individual and group counseling sessions tailored to address the root causes of addiction and develop healthy coping strategies.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT): We offer evidence-based MAT services for individuals struggling with opioid and alcohol use disorders. This approach combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies, significantly improving recovery outcomes and reducing the risk of relapse.
Medical Detoxification: Our medically supervised detox services provide safe, comfortable withdrawal management in a supportive environment. Our medical team monitors your progress 24/7, ensuring your safety while managing withdrawal symptoms with appropriate medications and care.
Social Detox: For those who don't require medical monitoring, our social detox program offers peer support and counseling in a structured, substance-free environment.
Specialized Support Services
Peer Recovery Support: Connect with others who understand your journey. Our certified peer recovery specialists provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support based on their own lived experience with recovery.
Advocacy and Referrals: Our team helps navigate treatment options, insurance coverage, and community resources, ensuring you receive comprehensive care tailored to your specific needs.
Integrated Care Approach: We understand that addiction often occurs alongside mental health conditions. Our integrated treatment model addresses both simultaneously, providing holistic care that treats the whole person.

Frequently Asked Questions
What treatment options does Alliance Addiction Recovery offer?
Alliance offers a full continuum: Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) with buprenorphine and Vivitrol, the Enhanced Outpatient Program, Medically Monitored Detox, Social Detox, individual and group counseling, and certified peer recovery support. Care is delivered at the Peabody Clinic and the Crisis Wellness Center on Broad Avenue, Memphis.
Do I have to detox before starting addiction treatment at Alliance?
Not always. Whether you need medical detox depends on the substance, how long you've used, and your medical history. Some clients enter MAT or the Enhanced Outpatient Program directly. Your Alliance intake team assesses your situation at the first visit and recommends the right starting point for you.
Does Alliance treat co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders?
Yes. Alliance Addiction Recovery uses an integrated treatment model that addresses substance use disorder and mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder at the same time. Your treatment team coordinates psychiatry, therapy, MAT, and peer support so you don't have to manage parallel care.
How long does addiction treatment at Alliance last?
The length depends on your level of care. Medically Monitored Detox runs about 7 days. The Enhanced Outpatient Program typically lasts several months. Medication Assisted Therapy usually runs 120 to 180 days. Many clients step down to outpatient counseling for a year or longer. Recovery isn't a fixed timeline.
What if I can't pay for addiction treatment at Alliance?
No one is denied addiction care at Alliance due to inability to pay. We accept TennCare, Medicare, and most major insurance. Uninsured adults can access the Behavioral Health Safety Net Program or a sliding fee scale based on household income. Medically Monitored Detox is built specifically for uninsured adults.
