Turning Point
At Turning Point you'll find real people who've walked a similar path. We're a peer-led recovery support center staffed by Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, people with lived experience in recovery who understand what you're going through.

Why Turning Point Is Different
Peer-led, not clinical. Our staff are Certified Peer Recovery Specialists trained and certified by the State of Tennessee. They've been there. They know recovery isn't one-size-fits-all.
One of only two in the region. Shelby County recognized the need, and we're answering it. We're part of Tennessee's statewide commitment to peer support as a cornerstone of mental health recovery.
Connected to a full continuum of care. Beyond peer support, if you need therapy, crisis services, addiction treatment, or housing support, Alliance is here. We work together to help you move forward.
Creative, home-like, welcoming. Walk through our doors at 4088 Summer Ave and feel the difference. We're not trying to feel like a hospital or an office—we're trying to feel like a safe place where recovery happens.
About Our Turning Point Clinic

Turning Point is where people find their people. We're a peer support center staffed by Certified Peer Recovery Specialists who've walked recovery paths themselves. Drop in for support groups, wellness planning, creative activities, or just to sit in a space where you belong. No judgment, no exceptions.
Getting Started Is Easy
For Individuals & Clients: Come as you are. We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis—no appointment necessary. When you arrive, you'll fill out a brief intake form with your information and insurance (if you have it). Depending on how many folks are here, there may be a short wait, and we appreciate your patience. Then you'll connect with a peer specialist who will listen, answer your questions, and help you figure out what Turning Point can offer you.
For Family Members: If you're supporting someone in recovery, you matter too. Call us to learn more about how Turning Point works, what your loved one can expect, and how family support fits in.
For Healthcare Providers & Community Partners: Referrals are welcome and easy. Contact us directly to discuss how Turning Point can complement the care you're providing, or submit a referral for a client you think would benefit.
