About Our Crisis Wellness Center
The Crisis Wellness Center is a 24/7 behavioral health facility providing immediate mental health and substance abuse support. As Tennessee's largest nonprofit behavioral health provider, Alliance Healthcare Services ensures walk-in access for individuals in crisis.
Our 45-bed facility serves as a critical alternative to emergency rooms and incarceration for those experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, with on-site medication management and comprehensive care.

Our Services

Crisis Hotline
All calls are answered by qualified and trained crisis personnel available 24/7. Call 988 for immediate support during a mental health crisis.

Walk-In Center
Immediate crisis assessments for behavioral health illness, crisis situations, or the perception of a crisis situation, available 24/7, 365 days a year.

CSU (Crisis Stabilization Unit)
Provides short-term stabilization (up to 96 hours) for individuals experiencing severe psychiatric distress..

Future Vision: Crisis Wellness Campus
The Crisis Wellness Center is the first phase of a broader initiative to expand behavioral health services in Memphis. A second facility, the Children and Youth Crisis Wellness Center, is set to open in 2026 and will provide specialized crisis care for children and adolescents.
