C.A.R.E. Team
Our C.A.R.E. Team (Crisis Assessment and Response to Emergencies) brings the right help to the right place at the right time. Every team includes a specially trained Crisis Intervention Team officer, a skilled paramedic, and a licensed mental health professional working together to provide immediate, compassionate care.

C.A.R.E. Team (Crisis Assessment and Response to Emergencies Team) consists of a CIT officer, paramedic, and a licensed mental health professional and operates 7 days a week from 8:00am-8:00pm.
The goal of this team is to decrease abuse of the 911-communications line, overuse of the local emergency departments, and educate individuals of other ways to gain access to mental health services. By dispatching the CARE Team, individuals with a history of treatment for mental health are given an onsite minor medical screening, mental health assessment, and are connected to community resources.
This collaboration has been essential in ensuring individuals receive adequate mental health services and are connected to other resources unknown to them and their family members.
