That's why we are thrilled to announce the promotion of a dedicated member of our team, Dr. Justin Charles, to the position of Director of Pharmacy.

This exciting development places a seasoned and compassionate expert at the helm of our pharmacy operations, promising an even brighter future for the individuals we serve.

A Familiar Face with a Fresh Vision

For the past four years, Dr. Charles has been a cornerstone of our Douglass location, serving as a pharmacist dedicated to patient-centered care. In this role, he has been instrumental in providing effective and empathetic pharmacy services to the community.

In his new, expanded leadership role, Dr. Charles will guide the enhancement of our medication management protocols and work to broaden access to pharmaceutical care. His focus will be on deeply integrating pharmacy services with our comprehensive behavioral health treatments, ensuring every patient receives the holistic care they deserve.

A Legacy of Service and Expertise

Dr. Charles brings a wealth of experience to his new position, with a career in pharmacy spanning nearly two decades. His journey began in 2006 with Walgreens, where he steadily advanced from a service clerk to roles including pharmacist, pharmacy manager, and eventually, store manager across his native Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

A proud 2014 graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, where he earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy, Dr. Charles has a rich background in both retail and clinical pharmacy.

After making Memphis his home, he played a pivotal role during the pandemic by serving as the coordinator for Walgreens' COVID-19 testing sites across the tri-state area, showcasing his leadership and commitment to public health.
