A Safe Place to Call Home While You Heal
Specialized Housing Support for Adults with Behavioral Health & Substance Use Challenges
Your Recovery Journey Deserves a Stable Foundation
Finding stable housing shouldn't be another barrier to your wellness. We get it—when you're working on your mental health or recovery, the last thing you need is worrying about where you'll sleep tonight.
At Alliance Healthcare Services, we've seen how much easier healing becomes when you have a safe, supportive place to call home. That's exactly why we created a complete range of housing options. Whether you need intensive support or you're ready to live on your own, we'll meet you right where you are.
Housing That Grows With Your Progress
Think of our housing program like stepping stones across a river. Each level gets you closer to where you want to be, and you only move to the next stone when you're ready.
Medically Fragile Housing
24/7 Intensive Support When You Need It Most
This is our highest level of care—perfect for when you need round-the-clock support. Maybe you're coming from the hospital, a state facility, or our crisis unit. Whatever brought you here, our qualified staff are available 24 hours a day to help you feel safe and begin healing.
You're not alone in this. We create a therapeutic environment where you can focus entirely on getting better without worrying about daily challenges.
This level works well for adults stepping down from institutional care who need continuous medical and behavioral health support.
Enhanced Housing
Structured Support with Growing Independence
Ready for a bit more freedom but still want that safety net? Enhanced housing gives you more independence while keeping staff available on-site around the clock. It's like having training wheels—you're doing more on your own, but support is right there when you need it.
This level works well for adults ready to take on more responsibility while maintaining access to immediate support.
Supportive Living
Learning Life Skills with Confidence
Here's where you really start building those essential life skills. Our staff are available 24/7 to help with everything from medication management to grocery shopping to handling daily challenges. You're practicing independence, but with a professional support team cheering you on.
It's amazing how much confidence you can build when you know help is just down the hall.
This level works well for adults developing independent living skills while maintaining a safety net of professional support.
Semi-Independent Housing
Your Bridge to Full Independence
You've been building skills and confidence—now it's time to really use them. With housing case management services a few times each week, you're living more independently while still having that professional guidance when you need it.
Think of it as having a coach. They're not there for every play, but they check in regularly to help you strategize and celebrate your wins.
This level works well for adults ready for increased responsibility with periodic professional guidance.
Independent Housing
Your Own Home, Your Own Life
This is it—your own place, your own rules, your own life. Whether it's just you or you have children, independent housing means you're ready to live on your own terms. And here's the best part: case management support is still available whenever you need it.
This level works well for adults and families ready for independent living with occasional professional support.
More Than Just a Roof Over Your Head
Every housing level comes with some pretty important basics:
Rent you can actually afford. Since we're HUD-subsidized housing, you pay about 30% of your income. That's it. All utilities included.
Healthcare coordination. Need to get to medical appointments? We help with transportation or teach you how to navigate public transit and TennCare transportation.
Social connections. Regular activities, resident meetings where you actually have a say in how things run, trips to local places. Because isolation isn't good for anyone's mental health.
Respect for your choices. Want to decorate your room? Go for it. Prefer to eat alone sometimes? That's fine too. This is your home, not an institution.
Real preparation for what's next. Whether that's moving to a more independent level or just getting more comfortable where you are.
